arpeggio  [ ahr · PEJ · ee · oh ]  noun:

in music, the sounding of the notes of a chord in rapid succession instead of simultaneously.

To play or sing an arpeggio, the musician must sound each element of the chord one at a time, so every note is

heard individually.  All humans play important roles within our social circles, work communities and in society.

Each of these roles is equally valuable individually, while providing a unique contribution to the world around us.

Mental Health First Aid Basic Training is an evidence-based program of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. This course aims to improve mental health literacy and teaches participants how to recognize early warning signs that a friend, family member or colleague may be struggling with a mental health issue, as well as intervention strategies for mental health crisis situations. Practical skills are taught in a supportive group learning environment using a model that is easy to remember and apply in real-life settings. Topics include the four most common mental illnesses: substance-related, mood, anxiety and trauma-related and psychotic disorders.
